The Hojai Unnayan Mancha(HUM) Uttar Bidyanagar, Hojai, 782435. It is a Regd. Voluntary organization of Hojai under Nagaon District which is dully registered under the societies registration Act XXI of 1860 vide Reg. No RS/NG/254/N/27. It is dully governed by a strong Executive Committee. The organization has its rented building and it is enrich with needful infrastructures and adequate experienced official staff to conduct its development activities undertaken.
The organization maintained a Bank Account at SBI, Hojai Branch which is jointly operated mainly by Director and President or Secretary as per norms of its constitution.The organization has been conducting a lot of Social, Economical and Environmental Development Activities in its Jurisdiction from its sources and with the community cooperation, through which community people got scope to develop their normal status. It has specially participated in practice of various cultural activities among community and organized seminars, symposia etc. On the sector from time to time. Activity like Agriculture, Education, Plantation, Cleanliness programme, Flood Relief, Publish and Research of Mythological Books, Organization of Drama, Conduct Library, Awareness on Natural Calamities and other like social development activities are undertaken in its jurisdiction. Besides, the organization organized a number of state level convention and other competition for better development of the Social & cultural issues.
To empower the poor and marginalized ethnic groups by promoting self reliance among them through awareness creation and people’s Organization.
